De Imperata cylindrica ‘Red Baron’ is siergras dat ook bekend staat als ‘Bloedgras’ of ‘Japans Bloedgras’. Het aantrekkelijke van dit siergras is het langwerpige blad van de plant, dat in het voorjaar rood-groen van kleur is en naarmate het seizoen vordert, kleurt naar dieprood. De plant wordt ongeveer 80 cm hoog en staat graag in de zon of halfschaduw.
